Aims and Scope

International Journal on Power Electronics and Applications cover all the aspects of power electronics (converters and inverters topologies and their control, hard- and soft-switching, low and high powers, solid-state devices, IC implementations, reliability, etc.), both fundamental and applied research results, both classical applications and emerging technology applications of power electronics in smart grid and microgrids, electrical machines, energy storage, wireless power transfer, cyber-physical systems, microprocessors and data centers, switched-capacitor-based circuits and artificial intelligence based systems. Tutorial papers are warmly welcomed. A journal section will be dedicated to papers authored by engineers from industrial companies presenting interesting designs of known power electronics circuits or new applications of available circuits.

The new on-line journal aims to become the reference publication of the state-of-the art power electronics for both fundamental research scholars and practicing specialists in the field.

The reviewers – editors – authors work as a team with the purpose of bringing each manuscript at its best in what concerns both the content and presentation. Specifically, this journal offers a platform for a closed authors – readers dialogue. A part of each issue will be dedicated to comments of the readers for any published paper, readers questions and authors answers, expression of different or even contrary views and ideas from the part of the readers, with editors replies.

Guidelines for preparing your manuscript can be found in the Manuscript Preparation Guidelines. Once your manuscript is ready, you may proceed to the Submission page to complete the process.
